1. Scarlett Lady
This ship is the one I'm the most excited to experience! Scarlet Lady will be an adult only cruise, aiming for a Yacht- like experience, debuting in April 2020. This ship is very unique, onboard you will find a tattoo parlor and the worlds first vinyl record shop at sea (so excited!!).
Virgin Voyages Scarlet lady will be different form other cruise lines, for example once it launches, Virgin Voyages will offer free, unlimited Wi-Fi to all passengers, no main dining room, no assigned seating to formal dining. Instead Sailors can dine at a table with a made to order meal or opt to enjoy they're meal at the bar. All standard cabins will feature an in-room entertainment system with a 43-inch and 4K flatscreen HDTV, mini bar, desk with mirror and flexible wardrobes. Bathrooms will have rain showerheads, while rooms with balconies will have handcrafted hammocks on them. Most rooms will also have the innovative seabed that converts from a full-sized bed to a lounger. Scarlet Lady will be sailing 4 and 5-night itinerary out of Miami. Cant wait!!
2. Norwegian Joy
I had the pleasure to be invited to the U.S. inauguration for the Norwegian Joy, and let me tell you after going under a $50 million renovation this is a beautiful ship!
Norwegian Joy will be sailing the West Coast for year-round sailings to Alaska, the Mexican Riviera and the Panama Canal from Miami and Los Angeles. One of the great things about this ship is that whether you are a family, a young couple, retired or anywhere in between, you'll find something for you . Aboard you can find a two-level Go-Kart Speedway, a five-hole miniature golf course, an Aqua Park that features a kids’ zone, the Galaxy Pavillion, and a waterslide that juts out over the edge of the ship. As for dining, there are about 15 different spots to eat on the ship.
3. Carnival Panorama
On of the reasons why I'm excited about this ship is because this is Carnival’s first new ship on the West Coast in 20 years and it will debut in Long beach December 2019. When it launches, Carnival Panorama will offer seven-night Mexican Riviera cruises, sailing from Long Beach, California with three ports: Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.
One of the major highlights of the upcoming ship is the first ever Sky Zone trampoline park at sea. The new space will span two decks and include a 12-lane trampoline court. The SkyRide is another highlight where you can zip safely around a suspended two-lane bike course high above the deck, a serenity adult only retreat and the new Havana staterooms.
4. Sky Princess
Sky Princess, will debut in November 2019! Initially it will sail 7 and 14 nights voyages in the Mediterranean and in December it will redeploy to Fort Lauderdale.
One of the great additions to the Sky Princess is the Sky Suites that can accommodate up to five people and it will have a 270-degree panoramic view throughout the voyage. Another great addition is the aft infinity-style Wakeview pool and bar that will offer spectacular views of the horizon. Also, it will include the three-deck-high Piazza atrium, Movies Under the Stars and balconies in 80 percent of the cabins, as well as a number of "new to the line" features.
5. MSC Grandiosa
MSC Grandiosa will sail Western Mediterranean itineraries for its inaugural season in Winter 2019-2020 and will start sailing from Genoa, Italy on Nov. 16, 2019
The Ship offers even more public space, along with a series of exciting innovation, some of the highlights will be two custom-created Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows, the result of a partnership between the line and Cirque du Soleil. n ultra-long Mediterranean-style promenade, 60 feet longer than on the original MSC Meraviglia. The promenade is the ship’s social hub, lined with shops, specialty restaurants and a new bar and lounge, called L’Atelier
Cruising is a great way to see the world! And what better way than doing it on an amazing ship. If you are dreaming like me about seeing one of these new cruise ships, send me an email and I'll make sure to plan the perfect vacation for you and your family.
